WASHINGTON - On Saturday, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) hosted his congressional district's seventh-annual reception for the Congressional Art Competition virtually. Students from 23 different high schools submitted 129 pieces of art for this year's competition. These submissions included 30 photographs, 38 paintings, 25 drawings, 16 mixed-media pieces, and 20 other pieces that included computer-generated art.

Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) highlighted the news that the U.S. Department of Transportation will award nearly $5.8 million in Emergency Relief grant funding to repair damages caused by the 2018 Woolsey Fire.
