The Congressional Award

The Congressional Award is a public-private partnership created by Congress to promote and recognize initiative, service, and achievement in America's youth. The program is open to all youth in the U.S. between the ages of 14 and 24 regardless of circumstance, ability, or socioeconomic status. Eligible individuals may earn a reward by setting and achieving goals in the four program areas: Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness and Expedition/Exploration.

Participants earn Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Certificates and Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Medals.
