WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressmen Ted Lieu (CA-33), David N. Cicilline (RI-01), and Jamie Raskin (MD-08) introduced an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump this morning. The impeachment resolution is sponsored by Cicilline, with Lieu and Raskin serving as the two lead co-sponsors. It is also co-sponsored by another 211 members of the U.S. House.
WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) and Congressman Mondaire Jones (D-NY) sent a letter to the New York State Bar Association requesting an investigation into Rudy Giuliani and his involvement in the violent insurrection at the Capitol in which five people died, including a U.S. Capitol Police Officer.

Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after the House passed the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act (H.R. 3884), or MORE Act. If signed into law, the MORE Act would remove cannabis from federal drug schedules under the Controlled Substances Act and enable states to create their own regulatory framework for cannabis. Additionally, the measure would facilitate the expungement of federal marijuana convictions and incentivize states to make similar changes.
