WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Lieu issued the following statement after the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security held a hearing on bail reform. Rep. Lieu has been a vocal advocate for bail reform, and has introduced legislation to reduce and eliminate the use of money bail.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after the House passed the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act, or CASE Act, this week. This bill creates the Copyright Claims Board, a body within the U.S. Copyright Office to decide small claims copyright disputes.
