Price gouging is the predatory practice of raising the price of consumer goods in response to pandemic-induced demand from consumers.This bill would prohibit such practices throughout the COVID-19 public health emergency, as well as during future national emergencies.

WASHINGTON - On Saturday, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) hosted his congressional district's sixth-annual reception for the Congressional Art Competition at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Students from 15 different high schools submitted 273 pieces of art for this year's competition. These submissions included 110 photographs, 66 paintings, 50 drawings, 28 mixed-media pieces, and 19 other pieces that included computer-generated art.
