Washington - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D | Los Angeles) issued the following statement in response to a new Pew Research Center study projecting that Asian Americans will become The United States' largest immigrant group by 2055.

"As the sun sets, the Jewish Community marks the beginning of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. On behalf of Betty and myself, we wish all those who are participating an easy and meaningful fast. Yom Kippur is a time for self-reflection and compassion—an opportunity to repent for our transgressions as we forgive those around us. May we take this time to come together as a community and work towards a more peaceful future for our world."
