Los Angeles - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles) issued a statement following a visit by Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James to Los Angeles Air Force Base (LA AFB). LA AFB is located in California's 33rd Congressional District and is where Congressman Lieu performs his Air Force Reserve duty.

Controversial three-year lease deals for tenants at Santa Monica Airport drew hundreds of airport opponents the last time they went before the City Council, and now they are back on the agenda for Tuesday's meeting.

CONGRESSMAN LIEU STATEMENT ON TODAY'S MEETING WITH HILLARY CLINTON
A long-awaited meeting to discuss Santa Monica Airport was held Wednesday in Washington, D.C. between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and local elected officials and residents.
Congressman Ted Lieu (33rd District) and Congresswoman Karen Bass (37th District) hosted the meeting between their constituents and senior FAA officials.
