As an investigation into possible Russian collusion unfurls and Republican legislators struggle to push through the health care reform agenda that fueled his candidacy, President Donald Trump has once again taken to Twitter to address his top priority: attacking the media. Literally.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) on Sunday criticized President Trump's recent tweet featuring a modified video showing him body-slamming CNN in a wrestling match.

"Donald Trump has had a series of highly disturbing tweets, but his last one, on Sunday morning, was beyond disturbing," Lieu said on MSNBC.

"We now have the president encouraging violence against the news media. He is increasing the risk that a journalist is going to get injured or get killed."

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) tweeted at first daughter Ivanka Trump Saturday, joking that President Trump's travel ban, which says grandparents are not considered close family members, is teaching her children that the president is not a close family member.

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) tweeted at President Trump on Saturday, and refuted the president's claim that the media is trying to get him to stop tweeting.

"Dear dumb as a rock [Trump]: The news media LOVES that you use social media. It jacks up their ratings & helps Special Counsel," Lieu tweeted, responding to the president's claim the news media is trying to convince Republicans to get him to stop using social media.

Leaked NSA exploits have now been the basis for two massive cyberattacks. The first -- Wannacry -- caught hospitals and other critical infrastructure across several nations in the crossfire, using a tool built on the NSA's ETERNALBLUE exploit backbone. The second seems to be targeting Ukraine, causing the same sort of havoc but with a couple of particularly nasty twists.

Clad in a red, white and blue "Trump-Putin 2016" shirt, the Democratic Congressman from California's 33rd District took to Facebook Live for 20 minutes on Thursday to answer constituent questions, with a focus on the Affordable Health Care Act, otherwise known as Trumpcare.

Lieu, a critic of President Donald Trump's policies and habits, has not shied away from calling out the President this year, drawing vehement criticism from conservatives.

Since news broke that he is in fact under investigation for obstruction of justice by special counsel Robert Mueller, who is overseeing the full investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election, Trump's furious claim that there is a "witch hunt" out to get him has intensified.

Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu wants the National Security Agency to stop the crippling Petya ransomware from spreading, if it can.

Petya sparked mass disruption after it emerged Tuesday. The first infections were seen in Ukraine, where Petya attacked 12,500 computers, according to Microsoft. The ransomware subsequently spread to 64 other countries, including Russia, Germany and the U.S.
