PHFE WIC, a program of Heluna Health, is the largest nonprofit WIC nutrition network in the United States, serving more than 190,000 low-income individuals each month in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties.

This bill, which Congressman Lieu cosponsored, would amend in statute the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s definition of annual income to ensure that disability benefits do not count against a veteran’s eligibility for housing.
