Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) held the 2026 Youth Town Hall and announced that applications for the 36th Congressional District’s Youth Advisory Council are now open and will be accepted through Friday, June 26, 2026. The Youth Advisory Council provides a unique opportunity for students to meet with a diverse group of peers, discuss issues of importance and consider ways of getting involved locally.

WASHINGTON – Last Thursday, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) hosted his congressional district’s twelfth-annual reception for the Congressional Art Competition at the Otis College of Art and Design.
Students from 16 different high schools submitted 135 pieces of art for this year’s competition.
