House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and six other Democrats are using the upcoming recess for a trip to China that will focus on a number of pressing topics, including cybersecurity, The Associated Press reported.
Washington – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi is leading a Congressional delegation trip to China, departing today and focusing on economic growth, national security and cyber security issues, human rights and the importance of bold action to reduce carbon pollution.

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Ted Lieu (D | Los Angeles County), along with 19 other members of Congress, sent a letter to the Bureau of Prisons encouraging that they expand arts education and engagement in their prisons. The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is currently supporting, in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, programs in six federal prisons. While a worthwhile effort, these comprise only four percent of the federal prisons nationwide.
