WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) announced a provision he proposed banning the production of Low-Yield nuclear weapons passed the House today as a part of an appropriations package. The provision prohibits the research, development, production and deployment of low-yield nuclear warheads for submarine-launched ballistic missiles.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 2476, Securing American Nonprofit Organizations Against Terrorism Act of 2019. This bill authorizes the Department of Homeland Security's Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) and increases its funding from $60 million to $75 million.
