REP LIEU STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF WOMEN SEEKING ABORTIONS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement reiterating his support for abortion rights for women in Los Angeles County.

"My support for reproductive healthcare is unflinching.

"Because the right-wing Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, women are losing access to abortion services across the country. This is creating devastating scenarios where women and girls who want or need abortions cannot access them. That is why it is more critical than ever to ensure access to abortion services in safe havens like California and in Los Angeles County specifically. I stand with the women and advocates fighting to ensure Californians and people everywhere can seek abortion care.”
