REP LIEU CONDEMNS IRAN'S STRIKES AGAINST PAKISTAN

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following condemnation of Iran’s missile strikes in Pakistan.

“I condemn Iran’s attack on Pakistan, which is yet another instance of Iran violating the sovereignty of one of its neighbors. Pakistan has the absolute right to defend itself. I share the concern of the Biden-Harris Administration that Iran’s actions could lead to worsening instability in the region because of Iran’s recklessness. In memory of the innocent lives lost in this attack, I call on Iran to stop its illegal and violent behavior towards Pakistan and other nations.”
