REP LIEU CONDEMNS ANTISEMITIC FLIERS IN SANTA MONICA

LOS ANGELES- Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after fliers containing antisemitic vitriol were found around elementary and middle schools in Santa Monica.

"I am dismayed that there was another instance of antisemitic fliers being distributed in our district. The fliers found in Santa Monica on Thursday are disturbing and appear to be a part of an ongoing trend across Los Angeles County. What is especially problematic is that we've seen similar acts of antisemitism in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Beverly Hills recently as well. Antisemitic rhetoric of any kind has no place in our community – and we should all be deeply concerned that this disgusting propaganda is continuing to circulate. I urge law enforcement to make finding those responsible for these hateful acts a top priority."
