REP LIEU COMMEMORATES DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) released the following statement marking Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

"On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we honor the life and legacy of one of our nation's greatest leaders. Dr. King dreamed of an America where all people, regardless of race or ethnicity, are truly equal under the law. Each day that I serve alongside my colleagues in Congress I strive to make this dream a reality. I remain committed to honoring Dr. King's work to put an end to the evil of racism. Now more than ever it is imperative that we remember the convictions of Dr. King and commemorate them through action."
