“This pandemic has been especially devastating to the entertainment industry, particularly live venue operators, theatrical producers, theater operators and other entities that have had to shut their doors. Southern California is home to some of the greatest entertainment and performance venues in the world, and we’ve heard from many constituents who need relief now. I spoke with the Acting SBA Administrator recently and explained how urgently needed this funding is for CA-33 and California. I’m grateful that the SBA understands the need for this crucial program, which will provide vital assistance to support our entertainment industry during this burdensome time.”
