LOS ANGELES – Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) joined Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Mayor Karen Bass, Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA), and Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) to discuss how federal support for Los Angeles Metro’s project to remove barriers to transportation will benefit Los Angeles County. The project received $139 million in federal funding that will go towards improving and expanding affordable, reliable, and safe transportation options for people throughout Los Angeles County.
