CONGRESSMAN LIEU STATEMENT ON HIS FINANCIAL REPORT LEGISLATION BECOMING LAW

WASHINGTON - Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued a statement following President Barack Obama signing into law H.R. 3116, the Quarterly Financial Report Reauthorization Act.  H.R. 3116 is Congressman Lieu’s third bill to be signed into law since he began serving in Congress on January 6, 2015.

REPS LIEU, DESAULNIER REQUEST INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGATIONS OF EXXONMOBIL DECEPTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE

WASHINGTON - Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D|CA-33), along with Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (D|CA-11), has sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch regarding allegations that Exxon/ExxonMobil intentionally hid the truth about the role of fossil fuels in influencing climate change. In their letter, Congressman Lieu and Congressman DeSaulnier request an investigation by the Department of Justice into whether or not ExxonMobil has broken any laws:
