REP LIEU STATEMENT ON HAMAS ATTACKS ON ISRAEL

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after Hamas militants launched an attack on Israelis.

“I am appalled by Hamas’ massive and abhorrent terrorist attacks on Israel and Israeli civilians. I condemn these repugnant attacks in the strongest terms and mourn the loss of life. Reports show thousands of rockets being launched indiscriminately at civilian targets in Israel, and terrorists intentionally murdering civilians and families. 

“I join the President in reaffirming the United States’ commitment to stand with Israelis and their right to defend their homeland. Congress must continue to stand with Israel to defeat this despicable invasion by Hamas, and restore peace and security to Israel.”
